Meet Kaydee Perry!

Please join us in welcoming Kaydee Perry as our new Richmond Hill Clinic Lead. Kaydee joined ExperCARE in January 2022 and we recently asked her some hard-hitting questions for your reading enjoyment!

Q: Where are you from?

A: I’m from a little town called Danielsville in Georgia and my husband is in the military, stationed on Fort Stewart. We have lived in Hinesville for over a year.

Q: What did you want to be when you were a child?

A: I wanted to be a veterinarian.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

A: I like to read and go to the dog park with my dogs and take them for walks. How many dogs? Two; golden doodle, Maverick, Weiner dog is Basil.

Q: What is your favorite beach?

A: I actually don’t like the beach and prefer the mountains. I like to hike. My favorite trail is the Bloody Mountain Trail in Georgia. Beautiful during sunset.

Q: What is your favorite TV Show

A: Dr. Who

Q: Are pineapples an acceptable topping for pizza?

A: NO!

Q: How has your role changed over the past year?

A: When I first came to ExperCARE I knew very little. Now, I’m a lot more knowledgeable than I was when I first started and I’m more confident communicating with patients.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your role?

A: I enjoy when I do the follow up calls and the patient is doing amazing and hearing them say that we helped them. That’s my favorite part.

Q: What do you hope to accomplish in your new position?

A: I would hope to be remembered positively. I know that Emily and Sierra were remembered because they made good footprints, and I want to leave my mark on ExperCARE in a positive way.

Q: What is your most memorable interaction with a patient?

A: I had a patient with Sickle Cell Anemia. With these patients they can be upset because they are in pain. She was always nice to me and so respectful. She told me about her whole family and her story. She is the reason I wanted to stay in the medical field and I still think about her and wonder how she is doing.

Q: What makes you proud to be part of ExperCARE?

A: When patients come in they say that we did more than the minimum. That makes me proud because I know we are always going to take the extra step. We are here to help and do more than what we have to for everyone!

Q: If you could give a newer Team member career advice, what would you tell them?

A: Its ok to make mistakes. I have made so many mistakes and I’ve learned from them. There is probably a humongous book called Kaydee’s Mistakes, and that’s ok because I have learned from them. That’s the only way to learn is to try, make a mistake, and fix it.
