Under FMCSA regulations, the following aspects will be covered during the exam:
- Blood Pressure: Must be below 160/100. Use of prescription medication to manage blood pressure is acceptable.
- Diabetes: Drivers must not be dependent on needle-injected insulin. Diabetes managed through diet or oral medication is allowed.
- Digestive Health
- Sleep Apnea
- Health of the Lung, Liver, Kidney, and Nervous System
- Muscular Strength and Disease: Assessment of muscular diseases or weakness.
- Vision: Drivers must have at least 20/40 correctable vision in each eye. Glasses or contact lenses are permitted.
- Past and Recent Injuries and Illnesses
- Cardiac Health: Screening for heart disorders.
- Hearing: Assessment of hearing disorders.
- Respiratory Function: Screening for respiratory issues.
- Drug Restrictions: Use of Schedule 1 drugs, amphetamines, narcotics, or any other habit-forming drugs is strictly prohibited.

We are great at assessing just about any medical complaint, ordering necessary testing and providing a treatment plan customized just for you! We can even send you to the appropriate specialist for follow-up if indicated.

We offer a full range of occupational health services delivered by experienced staff, knowledgeable in work-related injury care.
