Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

ExperCARE centers are equipped to perform EKGs, a simple test that checks your heart’s electrical activity.

Even if you feel fine, an EKG can reveal irregular heartbeats, heart muscle stress, or other heart conditions that might not be apparent during a physical exam.

EKGs allow our providers to assess your heart performance over time and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, such as severe or sudden chest pain, please call 911 or go to your closest Emergency Room.

Intravenous Fluids (IVs)

ExperCARE’s medical team can administer IV fluids when needed. IV fluids replenish the fluids and electrolytes (like sodium) your body requires to function properly.

Dehydration can happen for several reasons:

  • Intense physical activity: Sweating heavily during exercise, especially in hot weather, can cause significant fluid loss.
  • Illness: Vomiting or diarrhea can quickly deplete your body’s water and electrolytes.
  • Fever: High fevers increase the rate at which you lose fluids.
  • Heat exposure: Spending too much time in hot environments can lead to excessive sweating, especially if you don’t drink enough fluids to replace what you lose.
  • Excessive alcohol consumption: Alcohol can increase urination, leading to increased fluid loss and dehydration.
