Catherine C. Grant
Founder/CEO
Catherine Grant is CEO of ExperCARE, a company she co-founded as The Urgent Care Center of Richmond Hill in 2009. An honors graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, and a Bachelors, Grant has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She loves to teach and has served as PA faculty as well as a business mentor and leader. In 2018, Catherine was recognized by the American Academy of Physician Assistants as a Distinguished Fellow for her leadership, distinction in healthcare management, community service and contributions made to the profession.
In 2019, Grant was named one of Savannah Magazine’s New Guard: “the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, artists and all-around changemakers who make our city better through prowess — and the utmost professionalism”. In 2020, Catherine was selected as South Magazine’s Face of Entrepreneurship, for her success as “an innovator and trailblazer in healthcare” as well as one of United Way of the Coastal Empire’s “Women Who Rule” for being a local leader and difference-maker in the community.
Catherine serves on the Downtown Development Authority for the City of Richmond Hill. She has done extensive community service including raising more than $62,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia in 2015 and bringing home the People’s Choice Award. She spear-headed the first annual Warriors for William 5k and Fall Fest in 2013, raising money and awareness for childhood cancer. Catherine is also proud to have chaired the 2017 Bryan County Campaign for United Way of the Coastal Empire, breaking the all-time fundraising record for Bryan County at the time. She also served on the Strategic Planning Steering Committee for the United Way during the 2020-2021 year.
Under her leadership, ExperCARE has won numerous awards including Business of the Year in 2012 by the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce along with awards for Best Nurse, Best Doctor, Best Customer Service, Top Places to Work, Best Occupational Doctor, Best of the Best Urgent Care Winner and Best of the Best Customer Service Finalist. To this day, ExperCARE continues to be voted Best Urgent Care since 2016 in addition to Bryan’s Fave’s as Best Urgent Care!
Catherine is a devoted wife and mother of three girls who not only loves business and medicine; she has demonstrated successes in strategic vision and leadership while inspiring and empowering others to reach their potential. She is devoted to contributing in the community and leaving things better than she found them. Whether she’s creating, motivating, and leading in the business arena, or Beyondballroom Dancing, diving with great whites, or adventuring with her family, Catherine’s infectious energy and zest for life can be felt by everyone she comes into contact with.
