Robert A. Mazur, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Mazur found his interest in medicine while serving as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot. He later became a flight surgeon and was awarded the U.S. Army Flight Surgeon of the Year Award. Dr. Mazur is board certified in Emergency Medicine. His medical experience spans the globe, from serving as Chief of Emergency Medicine at Ibin Sina Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq, to serving as an air cavalry scout pilot in Korea, to years of working as an ER Physician, and his current work at ExperCARE as our Medical Director. As a supervising physician, Dr. Mazur uses his love for medicine and teaching to ensure that our providers always deliver extraordinary care and exceed our patients’ expectations.

Personal Summary:

Beyond ExperCARE and the Emergency Department, Dr. Mazur can be found golfing, fishing, and most of all, spending quality time with his family. Robert lives in Richmond Hill where he and his wife, Kathleen, have happily raised their three children, Allie, Zach and Sarah.
