Electrocardiograms (EKGs) for Heart Health Screening

An EKG (electrocardiogram) is a quick, painless test that measures your heart’s electrical activity — even if you’re not experiencing symptoms. ExperCARE providers use EKGs to detect:

  • Irregular Heartbeat (Arrhythmia) — identifying abnormal heart rhythms
  • Heart Muscle Stress — signs of strain not always caught during a physical exam
  • Underlying Heart Conditions — helping guide your provider’s treatment plan

EKGs allow your ExperCARE provider to track heart performance over time and recommend the right next steps for your care.

If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, such as severe or sudden chest pain, call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room immediately.

Intravenous Fluids (IVs) for Dehydration & Fluid Replacement

ExperCARE providers can administer IV fluids to quickly replenish the fluids and electrolytes your body needs. Dehydration can happen for a number of reasons, including:

  • Intense Physical Activity — heavy sweating during exercise, especially in hot weather
  • Illness — vomiting or diarrhea that depletes water and electrolytes
  • Fever — increased fluid loss from a high temperature
  • Heat Exposure — extended time in hot environments without enough fluid intake
  • Excessive Alcohol Consumption — increased urination leading to fluid loss

If you’re feeling run down, dizzy, or unable to keep fluids down, walk in to any ExperCARE location for fast IV rehydration.
