On-Site Lab Testing at ExperCARE Urgent Care Clinics
Lab test results are critical for accurately diagnosing and treating medical conditions. At ExperCARE, our urgent care centers are equipped to perform a variety of tests, including blood draws and urine analysis, to check for specific illnesses or conditions.
This capability enables our providers to diagnose accurately and make informed decisions about your treatment quickly, which means you can start recovering sooner.
Urgent care centers like ours offer the convenience and efficiency of receiving lab results either the same day or shortly thereafter, enhancing your access to quality healthcare. Moreover, most urgent care centers, including ExperCARE, provide lab testing services on a walk-in basis. Here’s what you might expect in terms of available tests at our walk-in clinic:
Laboratory Testing
Here are some of the tests you can expect to access at ExperCARE Urgent Care clinics:
- STD testing
- Cholesterol testing
- Flu testing
- Strep throat testing
- Arthritis panel
- Mononucleosis diagnosis
- Thyroid panel
- Urine test for infection or drug use
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Antigen tests
TB Testing (tuberculosis)
We can check for TB with a quick skin test on site.
Sometimes, TB can be present in the body without causing people to feel sick or showing symptoms. That’s why the CDC recommends testing for people who:
- Have spent time with someone who has TB.
- Have medical problems that weaken the immune system.
- Are from a country where TB is common (most countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Russia
- Live or work somewhere in the U.S. where TB is more common (homeless shelters, prisons).
- Use illegal drugs.
- Current CDC guidelines for TB (www.cdc.gov)
IVs (Intravenous fluids)
ExperCARE medical team can administer IV fluids when appropriate, which help to replenish the liquids and electrolytes (sodium) that your body needs to function.
Dehydration can be triggered by several causes, such as:
- Intense physical activity: Engaging in high-intensity or prolonged physical activities, especially in hot weather, can lead to significant fluid loss through sweat.
- Illness: Conditions that cause vomiting or diarrhea can rapidly deplete the body’s water and electrolytes.
- Fever: High body temperatures increase the rate of fluid loss.
- Heat exposure: Spending extended periods in hot environments can lead to excessive sweating, which may not be replenished if fluid intake isn’t increased.
- Inadequate fluid intake: Not drinking enough water, especially during hot weather or when you are more physically active, can lead to dehydration.
- Excessive alcohol consumption: Alcohol can cause the body to excrete more fluid through increased urination, leading to dehydration.
EKGs (Electrocardiogram)
All ExperCARE centers are equipped to perform an EKG, a test that checks the heart’s electrical activity. The results of this test can help our medical team find the cause of chest pain.
The data gathered from electrocardiograms (EKGs) are invaluable in helping healthcare providers understand potential cardiac issues that could be causing symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, or heart palpitations. An EKG measures the electrical activity of your heart, providing detailed information about its rate and rhythm. This can reveal the presence of irregular heartbeats, heart muscle stress, or even underlying heart conditions that might not be immediately apparent through a physical exam alone.

From acute injuries on the ball field to weekend warrior mishaps- sprains and strains, bumps, bruises, stitches, staples and IV fluids are some more of the ways we excel at ExperCARE. We even have an in-house x-ray, labs, EKG’s, and much MORE.
Routine Care
Don’t have a doctor? Can’t get a convenient appointment?
Don’t want to wait to find out? Need non-controlled medications refilled? No problem! We are great at assessing just about any medical complaint, ordering necessary testing and providing a treatment plan customized just for you! We can even send you to the appropriate specialist for follow-up if indicated.
Labs, X-rays, Diagnostics
We offer in-house x-ray services and a full range of lab testing for all of your diagnostic needs. We have a board-certified radiologist on call for our providers all hours that we are open to provide the highest level of care and service for our patients. Need a vaccination or flu shot? We’ve got you covered. We even offer the option to fill most commonly prescribed medications on-site in minutes, for an affordable cash rate.
Occupational Medicine
We offer a full range of occupational health services delivered by experienced staff, knowledgeable in work-related injury care. Our team is trained to work with employers and employees to minimize lost time and recordability and optimize employee wellness. We specialize in delivering extraordinary care to employees while communicating with the employer to ensure a seamless process. We have FMCSA Certified Medical Examiners available on a walk-in basis daily and our centers are members of DATIA with NIOSH certified experts on staff.
