Is being seen in urgent care cheaper than the emergency room?

According to national studies, services provided at an urgent care center are generally at least 25% cheaper but may be up to 80% less than what you would pay for the same services in an emergency room.  The cost of your visit to The Urgent Care Center of Richmond Hill will vary depending on your contract with your insurance company or your election to be a cash pay patient.

How much will it cost if you don’t take my insurance or if I don’t have insurance?

Cost is dependent upon the complexity of your need and the diagnostic testing and/or treatments that are recommended.  We do discount our services for all uninsured patients.

Do you take appointments?

Although appointments are not needed, you can get in-line to be seen from the comfort of your home.

Are you affiliated with a hospital system?

We are locally owned and operated but still adhere to all of the same standards, such as HIPAA and OSHA, that hospitals do.
